Sean is named in The King’s Foundation 35 under 35 network!

We’re pleased to announce that Sean has been included in the King’s Foundation 35 under 35 network.

The King’s Foundation is a charity founded by King Charles III, who remains the organisation’s Royal Founding President. This year the charity is celebrating its 35 anniversary. Inspired by the vision and values of His Majesty, The King’s Foundation builds and supports communities where people, places and the planet can coexist in harmony. The charity set out to create a network of ‘the next generation of makers and change makers’ and Sean was excited to have been named in this list!

This is what Sean had to say about being selected:

To be recognised alongside the inspirational and talented individuals who make up the network is a proud moment for myself. Traditional arts and craft can bring so much joy and happiness to someone's life, whether that's through the satisfaction of making something tangible with their hands, or through owning a cherished piece of work from a maker; that's why I think it is amazing that the King's Foundation shines a spotlight on these skills, and why I am thrilled to now be part of it!

Sean and Dan are excited to be attending the launch event in May at the Garrison Chapel in Chelsea, along with the other members of the network and the Foundations ambassadors.

As well as this award, Sean was recently crowned ‘Young Woodworker of the Year’ at the end of last year, and is honoured to have been recognised by two great organisations who champion traditional craft and support makers.
