We were asked by House & Garden to give our opinion on ebonising wood, for an article titled ‘What is ebonised wood and why do we love it?’
Ebonising wood can be used to enhance grain lines, and to accentuate forms. We’ve used this technique in a number of pieces, such as the Hawthorn chair, Bonham Bench and our new mosaic coffee table ‘Pompeii Mensam’.
