We’re pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting a new coffee table at Collect 2026 in the historic Somerset house, London, from the 27th February to the 1st March!
Collect is ‘the leading international art fair for contemporary craft and design’, put on annually by the Craft Council. We have always believed fine woodworking is an art form and we’re thrilled to be exhibiting our work alongside esteemed artists. The table is designed to be functional, yet highly artistic with an intricate and detailed top.
This coffee table features a base with six curved, scorched openings and a Roman mosaic top. The base will be hand-carved to highlight the flowing grain patterns, and then scorched, preserving the grain lines and creating a further textual element. The table top has around 60,000 individually cut and glued wooden tiles, made from a variety of wood species, utilising the natural wood tones to create the different patterns, protected by a glass top.
